The Principal Objectives of HELP-LIS TRUST
Every initiative undertaken by the Trust is guided by the following core Objectives, designed to create a lasting, positive impact on the Library and Information Science community.
Humanitarian Assistance
Providing financial assistance and humanitarian support to economically disadvantaged LIS professionals facing medical emergencies and unforeseen crises.
Educational Support
Supporting the education of dependent family members of distressed or deceased LIS professionals.
Welfare Fund
Creating and managing a dedicated welfare fund through donations and voluntary contributions.
Fund Raising
Organizing programmes, campaigns, and events to mobilize resources for charitable activities.
Grants and Donations
Receiving donations, grants, CSR funding, and financial assistance from individuals, institutions, corporate bodies, government agencies, and national and international organizations.
Professional Collaboration
Working with professional associations, educational institutions, publishers, and organizations to advance the objectives of the Trust.
